At present India is witnessing a new phase in development, and construction provides the direct means for that. With this development it is necessary to develop a technology which is economical, effective and environment friendly. Fly ash is one such material incorporated in India. Produced mainly from thermal power plants, remains of burned coal has a large use in various aspects.

The event requires a basic knowledge of applications of Fly Ash in various civil engineering aspects along with details of a particular field. A quiz round will be conducted to make things interesting.


General Points:


1) Each team should comprise of a maximum of 5 members.

2) Online and other sources should only be used as references. Any direct resemblance may lead to disqualification of the team.

4) Initial submission of a report based on your study has to be done.

5) Top 10 teams will be called for giving presentations in IIT Kharagpur, which will be followed by Q/A session.
