Rules and Regulations


The online treasure hunt is a series of mind-bending puzzles, each right answer leads to the next question. Every time next question is going to be more hard and more interesting. Questions are in the form of hints (for example phrases, images etc.) and you have to come out with a CIVIL RELATED STRUCTURE which relate to the given hints. If you think in the right direction you get the right answer.


For each question, there is no time limit, means you can attempt the question in as much time as you want till you get the right answer or the portal gets closed. BUT there is a twist are decided on the basis of total time.



  • Open for all students enrolled in any engineering course across the country.
  • Students doing B.Tech or B.E. are eligible to take part in this competition
  • For each registration account, you can attempt the quiz only once.
  • Event runs continuously for 7 days from 11:59 AM, 23rd January 2019 to 11:59 AM , 30th January 2019.


Top 3 winners at the end of the event shall get Cash Prize at Megalith IIT Kharagpur 2019 during Closing Ceremony.

  • 1st prize - Prizes worth INR 2000
  • 2nd prize - Prizes worth INR 1500
  • 3rd prize - Prizes worth INR 1200
  • 4th to 12th prize - Exciting prizes worth INR 700 each

Terms and Conditions

  • If there will be any sign of unfair means, the person will be disqualified and may not be considered for any further engagements.
  • All reveinces can be taken up with the core team of megalith and not with the Civil Engineering Department of IIT Kharagpur or IIT Kharagpur itself.
  • Megalith has the right to make any changes in the rule at any point of time.
  • In any conflict, the decision of Megalith team will be final and binding and no appeal shall be entertained.

How To Play

  • Write all answers in CAPITAL letter without spaces.
    Example - If the answer is “Qutub Minar”, write it as “QUTUBMINAR” in the answer box without the quotes.
  • If your answer contain any symbol, don’t mention it while answering.
    Example - If your answer contains “People’s”, write it as “PEOPLES” in the answer box without the quotes
  • Don’t write abbreviations.
    Example - If your answer contains “St.” write it as “SAINT” in the answer box without the quotes
  • Don’t write number in integer form.
    Example - to write “1”, write it as “ONE” in the answer box.
  • If you think more than one answer is possible for the question, try the most appropriate one.
